Days in the Flathead Valley have a way of filling themselves. Glacier National Park is just up the road, Flathead Lake is practically in your backyard, and somewhere between the two there's a hiking trail, a boat launch, or a quiet mountain town that wasn't in the plan but ends up being the best part of the trip.

Whitefish is a short drive for dinner worth dressing up for. Bigfork is worth a slower afternoon. And Glacier — well, Glacier is the reason most people come, and it never disappoints.
